Attractions at Disneyland Park in Paris are able to attract all visitors without any exception, colourful parades cartoon characters that take place on the Main Street , can plunge all audiences into a fairy tale.
Night show at Disneyland – a magical event with lights, fireworks, fountains, images of fairy tale heroes that arise directly to heaven in the form of small butterflies, or vice versa characters, big as a castle.
“Sympathy of Euro Parks “- the opportunity to visit three major cities: Prague, Paris, Berlin and enjoy Berlin´s Tropical Islands.
The beauty and uniqueness of the main towns in the Czech Republic, Germany and France is the heritage of humanity, the more valuable is the opportunity to visit these beautiful cities during one trip.
For arts groups, there is an opportunity to perform on the best scenes of the 3 major cities in Europe becomes a unique experience that will remain a bright page in the history of dance, gymnastics and circus groups, choirs , orchestras , regardless of category.
Only at the festival “Sympathy of Euro Parks” the arts groups have the opportunity to present their 20-minute program on the stage with the best lighting and sound equipment and an audience from all around the world. The show is running on nearby monitors, not only the broadcast of the concert, but also names of leaders of the groups are appearing on the monitors.
Artists of age 9 – 26 years are invited for participation.
NOMINATIONS:
VOCAL: (group): vaudeville singing, jazz singing, academic singing, choral singing, folk singing (including folklore and ethnography).
CHOREOGRAPHY: Classical dance, folk dance (including ethnic and historically), stylized folk dance, vaudeville dance, vaudeville – sports dance, modern directions, ballet and ballroom dancing (group). Participation is open to groups, professionals and amateurs in the following ways: show dance, disco – small and large formations, hip hop, club dance, street jazz, soul jazz.
INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC: (band, orchestra): Festival is open to ensembles and orchestras from all around the world playing folk, string, wind and other music instruments.
ORIGINAL GENRE: We accept participants, working in ways such as acrobatics, plastic etudes, clowns (performances with air and fire are not allowed)
MAJORETTES: Majorettes with pompon, flags
ATTENTION! For participation at Disneyland is necessary:

Our invitation is for guarantee of performances of the best scenes: the theatre Hybernia, DK Teplice, House of Arts in Berlin, Disneyland Paris, and the central square of the city Ceske Budejovice – UNESCO World Heritage.
All Laureates of competitive festivals will obtain grants in amount of 450 – 4500 EUR!
Live internet broadcasting and TV reports, bulletins on the media in the Czech Republic, Germany and Disneyland.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Invitation for the group to participate in the festival sent by the organizer of the festival after checking submitted applications according to the selection criteria.
The group must be of size of 21 persons of whom at least 12 are the performers.

In response to the application form, the Organizing Committee will send official invitation with the name of the group, the name of the manager and confirmation of reservations, for possible consulate needs. Participants of the festival will receive a competitive program, corresponding with the declared category.
After submitting an application, the advance payment in amount of 1.500 EUR is required. This amount is considered as an advance and is reflected in the final overall budget.

PERFORMANCE: STEPS AND GUIDELINES
1 – application REQUIREments:
ALL applicants must submit their application material at least Twenty WEEKS, and not more than ONE year prior to their requested performance date
You must be a group of at least 20 people, including a minimum of 10 performers
Performers under the age of 5 years old are not accepted
ALL groups (return groups included) must complete & return the enclosed application form, with a non-returnable group photograph in costume & audition material
ALL groups and accompanying parties must purchase a Disney Performing Arts park entry ticket for the Disneyland Park® valid on the day of their performance
ALL PARTICIPANTS OF THE FESTIVAL WILL HAVE FREE TICKETS TO DISNEYLAND PARK.
2 – AUDITION PREPARATION
Your audition is the only way we have to assess your group, therefore please ensure that the
Quality and content show you at your best!
The following criteria have been established for selecting performance groups to be a part of the SYMPATHY OF EUROPARKS – Arts programme.
Your audition material will be evaluated on your group’s ability to:
Play and/or sing musically, and in tune
Display precision in execution of music and /or movement
Perform with energy and display a sense of stage presence. Smile!
AUDITION SUPPORT
A non-returnable colour photograph must be sent with your application form showing your group in a costume or uniform representative of that to be worn on the day of your performance
For performances made up of more than one group e.g. instrumental & vocal, dance & vocal etc… two complete audition pieces per ensemble are required
Each piece should be a SEPARATE video or song that is less than one-year old
Promotional videos that include other groups and adjudication videos are not acceptable
Groups with choreography or movement in their performance i.e. marching bands, parade groups, show choirs, dance troupes etc… must submit a visual audition
Internet links are not accepted (You Tube, My Space etc…)
Auditions should be submitted on the following supports: DVD (zone 2), CD and standard audio and video digital files. These files can be sent as email attachments.

AUDITION CONTENT
At least 90% of the performers previewed to perform at should be featured on the audition that you send us
The audition must feature ALL soloists (vocal and instrumental) and ALL instrument types
The audition should be representative of what you intend to showcase at Festival Sympathy of Euro parks and should reflect the level of the performers
Dance groups are recommended to keep solos to a minimum
Please place your video camera close enough so that specific movements of the group can be easily and clearly seen, but far enough to capture the whole group at one time. Please avoid close-ups
Please make sure when recording that microphones capture the entire group
Do not put the video camera or the recorder on top of the piano or next to the drum kit, etc….
3 – SHOW REQUIREMENTS
All show material performed at Festival Sympathy of Euro parks should be secular; we suggest a varied programme of upbeat, light, popular & traditional music. Disney melodies are permitted, however you should remember to avoid using only Disney music! Your show should last between 20 minutes
ALL music, lyrics and show content must be suitable for a family environment
No identifiable artwork or any other copyrighted or trademarked material may be used on props, banners, instruments or costumes
Mascots or recognizable character costumes (Disney or other) are not permitted
The group should present a well-groomed uniform look. All costumes must be suitable for a family environment

PERFORMANCE TIPS
Putting together an entertaining show, for such a unique venue and the international audience that are to be found at Festival Sympathy of Euro parks, is no easy feat!
The following comments are designed to assist you in your future preparation:
When preparing your repertoire, remember to select music that is upbeat and fun
Be especially careful and realistic when preparing for younger performers!
It is vital that you arrive fully rehearsed to a level that is show ready; you may only get one chance to shine!
Concerning dance groups, the choreography must be adapted to your chosen music and to the different ages and ability of your performers
Timing is of the greatest importance; if your performers are not together on stage, then this can spoil the overall show
Spacing; make sure that you use the whole stage, and that lines are respected and kept straight
Make sure that your show flows; do not leave empty spaces on stage in between the ends of pieces. The stage should never be left empty, if you want to keep a captive audience
Stage presentation is as important as the choreography and music. Applying some simple tips will make a big difference:
Remember to smile, and your audience will enjoy it as much as you
Avoid fidgeting, scratching, chewing; talking etc…
Take as much care with exits as you would with entrances; don’t forget, you are still on stage!
FINANCIAL CONDITIONS.
The price of accommodation according the package “A” or “B” – 339 EUR per person/
The program cost includes: Accommodation in the one of the 2 – 3* Hotel in according the program;
Package “A” : 6x breakfast, 2x lunch, 5x dinner( 1st. day just dinner, day of departure just a breakfast). Excursion according to the program; registration fee 30 EUR
Package “B : 4x breakfast, 4x dinner (1st. day just dinner, day of departure just a breakfast); Excursion according to the program; registration fee 30 EUR
FESTIVAL FEE
For the groups less than 21 persons:
Participation fee for the one participant 40 EUR
For the groups – more than 21 persons:
Participation fee for the one participant 35 EUR
For the large groups – more than 42 persons:
Participation fee for the one participant 30 EUR
For the group less than 21 persons we are accepted just one application form in one contest category! Participation in other competition category will charge extra, depending of number of participants.
Participation fee for the soloist and duet’s per one contest category: 100 EUR
Participation fee for the trio & quartets per one contest category: 140 EUR
Extra payment for ADULTS IN FESTIVAL GROUP 30 EUR ( in case if the group consist over 25% of adults)*
Extra payment for accommodation in standard DBL hotel room 50 EUR.
TRANSFER (from/to Czech Republic) – FESTIVAL COACH PAYMENT:
For the groups 20+1 person: 229 EUR per person
In case of larger group, please ask for the festival transport prices
Don’t miss you chance to get 5 – 10 % for the festival coach, and make you prepayment 90/120 days before the festival!

Program for Laureates 299 EUR
Program without night in Berlin – participants 309 EUR
Laureates 269 EUR
* The transportation serves we will clarify after getting the application form with the exact number of the participants (because it depends on the number of persons).
7. After receiving your application form the group receives the invoice for the first advance payment 1500 EUR, which will be including to the original invoice. The remained payment can be paid either through bank 30 days prior to festival. If the group reduces the number of participants the hotel price is not paid back.
TO BE PART OF THE FESTIVAL – WHAT WE REQUIRE
For the participation in the Festival it is necessary to send the application form to the Executive management by fax +420-267911783 or fill the application form online http://www.children-festivals.com/en/application/
After the receiving the application form – we will send you the invoice for the first advance festival fee 1500 EUR (* this festival fee could be refundable in case if the participants will not get the visa to the Czech Republic or Schengen states).
A non-returnable colour photograph must be sent with your application form showing your group in a costume or uniform representative of that to be worn on the day of your performance
For performances made up of more than one group e.g. instrumental & vocal, dance & vocal etc… two complete audition pieces per ensemble are required
Each piece should be a SEPARATE video or song that is less than one-year old
Promotional videos that include other groups and adjudication videos are not acceptable
Groups with choreography or movement in their performance i.e. marching bands, parade groups, show choirs, dance troupes etc… must submit a visual audition
Internet links are not accepted (You Tube, My Space etc…)
Auditions should be submitted on the following supports: DVD (zone 2), CD and standard audio and video digital files. These files can be sent as email attachments to artmarket@praha-cz.net
All digital files should be sent via :https://www.hotfile.com and resend your link on artmarket@praha-cz.net
For the first invoice the participant should send the following information : a) Post address of the organization , b) Number of the bank account, c) Telephone and fax number, d) The full name of the organization
After the receiving festival fee 1500 EUR on the festival account, the participant will receive the original invitation to the festival (by DHL & by Fax). For the invitation is necessary to send the following information: a) the list with the names of all participant in the group b) date of birth and number of passports of all members of the group
For the registration its necessary to send us the following list –age of the group:

The organization committee always open to help to solve all questions with the embassy if the participant need it.
Organization of stay, half board, transfer (participant’s meeting and seeing-off), and excursion for newcomers are provided only by the Executive management of the Festival-contest.
Transport expenses concerning coming to the Festival and returning back shall be pay by the sending party or by participants themselves.
FORCE MAJEURE
The organization committee is not responsible in case the organization duties cannot be fulfilled because of the force major: fire, inundation, epidemics other emergency situation and emergency edicts.

The jury
The evaluation system has 20 points.
Competitive program is evaluated by the professional jury, comprising from well-deserved figures of culture and arts, professional educators, active artists, philanthropists, representatives of the media and the state authorities of the Czech Republic and other European countries. The jury reserves the right: to grant a place, not to grant all prizes, to award a special prize of the jury. Part of the right of the jury is selecting the best numbers for the final performance at the gala concert.
Chairwoman of the jury is the National Choreographic artist Miroslav Pešíková (National artist).
Invitations to the jury: well-known European choreographers, directors of choreographic schools, well-known dancers of modern choreography, ballet, folk and ballroom dance, theatre directors.
Chairman of musical and vocal Jury is Doc. Jan Maria Dobrodinský – honorary conductor of the Bratislava Philharmonic, recorded in the Encyclopaedia of Art, winner of the recognition of Ministers of Culture of Slovakia and the Bedrich Smetana award.
Invitations to the jury: well-known European choirmasters, directors of choirs and music schools, famous opera singers, instrumental music experts and directors of theatres.
Chairman of the artistic jury: art gallery owner, an artist, a member of the Association of Visual Artists of the Czech Republic – Jiří Kreml.
Invitations to the jury: famous European artists, directors of schools of art, famous gallery owners and directors of art museums.
The decision of the jury is approved and registered in the report, it is final and unchangeable.
Support for the festival participants
The jury determines the winner with assigning certificates to participants in the following form:
- Grand Prix;
- Laureate of 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree;
- Diploma of 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree;
- Festival participant;
- Group size from 10 persons receive cups made from Bohemian glass, soloists, laureates of 1st degree and small formations – commemorative gifts, as well as all the children received 1st place – diplomas from the World Cultural Union;
- Thank-you letters from sponsors (upon the early registration);
- All groups – winners will receive a discount for participation in the festival tour:
- „Sympathy of Europarks“ with the performance in Disneyland, or
- Summer festivals held in České Budějovice – Italy: „Silver voice“, „Czech Fairy Tale“, „Metamorphosis of castles“, „Holiday of time“.
Special awards:
- Diploma of the jury for a special talent (can be awarded to the member of the ensemble without the need of the application solo nominations);
- Diploma of the Jury to participants for completing the master-class
- Greeting “Happy Birthday”, to leaders who celebrates their birthday on the day of the festival, handing over gift
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to change the program at any time.
Accommodation of participants is 3 bed rooms and a block (2 + 2, 2 + 3, 3 + 3) in hotels.
The “A” + “B” programs include performances at Disneyland and free access to the park
Catering
Program „A“
6 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 5 dinners (on arrival day only dinner on departure day breakfast only)
Program „B“
4 breakfasts, 4 dinners (on arrival day only dinner on departure day breakfast only)
- 369 EUR for a group with own transport (participants and leader of the group), if there is more than 25% adults in the group – extra fee 30 EUR/adult
- 568 EUR for a group with festival’s transport (participants and leader of the group), if there is more than 25% adults in the group – extra fee 30 EUR /adult
Price includes: Registration Application – 30 EUR per person, accommodation with 2 meals a day, all excursions (without transport or with transport), invitations to the banquet for leader of a group, every 16th place for the leader of the group (free), when a group of 45+ 3 – 3 free places for leader of a group.
Price includes registration costs, but does not include transport costs.
You can order festival transport from Brest, Lvov, Prague or Berlin.
The participants can use their own transport.
In case the group has own transport, please make sure that the bus correspondents with the category of Euro 3.
All groups will receive their programs two weeks before the festival.

Videopolis
The large auditorium including areas for the guests of the Hyperion Restaurant is matched by a gigantic high tech stage.
While Space Mountain without doubt is the focal point of Discoveryland the Videopolis is an impressive, huge structure too and catches quiet a few eyes – thanks to the impressive airship Hyperion that rests in its hangar high above the heads of those guests making their way into the building.
