The gala concert of XV folklore festival “Rainbow” was held vigorously and cheerfully in August 1st in one of the most beautiful castles of South Bohemia in Trebon.
A large audience watched the concert in the shade of the castle park. The concert was very colorful and represented the beauty of folklore in execution of young artists.
The Prize of the 1st Laureates “Rainbow -2017” this year goes to Bratislava, won by the Slovak team “Prvosienki”.
In the day of the competition (July 31st) in Czech Budejovice, the chairman of the choreographic jury Miroslava Peshikova, discussed in details with the leaders of the choreographic teams features of each act and gave her recommendations. After the competition, during the VIP meeting, the jury chairman noted that the teams that have come earlier to the festivals of the International Youth Forum, in vain did not lose time and significantly improved performing skills.
Diplomas of the International Youth Forum are the most prestigious in youth creativity and this diploma allows to continue creative activity on a professional level.
Honorary presentation of grants, diplomas and memorable gifts took place traditionally in a historical atmosphere. As always, energetic incendiary folklore of young talents is combined with the ancient beauty of medieval monuments. The audience was fascinated by this magnificent action and supported the cries of joy of the winners – the first winners of the group “Prvosiencki”. Grant 2000Eur for the cruise festival “World of Youth”, which will be held in the Mediterranean countries, gives an opportunity for the Laureates to perform an honorable mission and present their region on the scene of a huge cruise liner MSC, where 2000 spectators from all over the world will look at their performances.
Our XV Festival “Rainbow” is nearing to the ending. Today, collectives go to the most romantic and historically authentic city of the Czech Republic, in the Czech Krumlov.
