Each team will present their dance for max time – 1 minute.

Jury will choose best 8 teams who will chalange 1 vs 1 team fight in Single-elimination tournament (see the picture below)

JUDGING SYSTEM:

The jury consists of dance experts (judges, coaches, choreographers), both national and international levels. Appointed judges are experts from difference dance genres. Each category is judged by 5 judges, specialised for the dance discipline they have been delegated to judge. Judges evaluate each number using points from 1 (-worst) to 10 (-best) in the following parameters:

• Technique
• Musicand rhythm
• Interpretation
• Choreography
• Synchronization

The final result is the arithmetic mean of the scores that have been assigned by all the judges, where the best and worst scores for each evaluated parameter have been discarded. The winner in each category is the number thathas been evaluated with the highest number of points. If two or more numbers reach the same number of points, the winner is the number that has the highest number of points in the technique parameter. If it is not possible to determine the winner even after that, the deciding factor become the highest number of points in parameter music and rhythm, then interpretation, choreography and also synchronization. If after the mentioned order of parameters it is still not possible to determine a winner, best numbers share the first place

Each festival has 2 types of performances: 1. All nominations – a competition between exact nominations for number of performers: starting from 1 (solo) to a large formations more than 31 persons 2. Teams battle – a competiton between groups starting from 11 persons. It has single-elimination tournament format.

Registration:

Each participant of the festival (collective or soloist) submits an application and submits to the organizing committee the following documents confirming the intention to take part in the festival:

• Completed registration form (on website)
• Confirmation of security deposit in the amount of the festival fee for all participants in one nomination.

Dancers, competing in more categories, pay entry fees for each category in which they compete. Entry fee must be payed after receiving invoice from organizers. After sending the application to the address of the organizing committee, and paying the festival fee, you must provide a list of participants of the whole group. In the case of a hotel reservation, an advance payment of EUR 1,500 per team also should be paid. This amount is credited as security and will be taken into total sum in further calculations. The remaining amount of money should be transferred to the organizers in 3 weeks before arrival. If you need a transfer, you must declare this no later than 60 days before arrival.

Cancellation Registration cancellation is not possible after the registration deadline, except when the cause of the cancellation is a medical condition (disease, injury etc.) and participant submits to the organizer a physician’s health certificate. Only in such a case paid fee will be refunded as follows:

• 100 % until 60 days before festival
• 75 % until 45 days before festival
• 50 % until 30 days before festival
• 0 % until 15 days before festival

Dance disciplines: Pop dance – based on the artistic expression of the performers and the use of elements: jazz technique, classical ballet technique and modern contemporary dance technique. Technique of other dance disciplines can be incorporated. In this nomination the minimum requisite is used. But should not dominate the performance. Story presented by dancers is the essential component of individual performances. Urban encompasses choreographies of different street dance styles, such as hip hop, break dance. It could be only technical choreography or it could be integrated into a story. Stage props are permitted. Disco dance contains disco genres such as dance floor and freestyle. Modern elements from hip-hop and break dance etc. are allowed, but typical disco elements should dominate. Acrobatic moves are allowed but should not dominate the performance. Sport dance is a dance style that combines classical dance technique with precise performance of acrobatic , gymnastic elements. Its choreography should seamlessly blend dance and gymnastic. Elements of gymnastics should be part of the dance, not a gymnastic set of exercises. Show dance is based on jazz technique, classical ballet technique and modern-contemporary dance technique. Technique of other dance disciplines can be incorporated, but should not dominate the performance. Story, presented by dancers, is the essential component of individual performances. Jazz is an extremely diverse art form. The entire routine must consist of jazz work, i.e. Jazz technique turns, jumps isolations, stretch etc. Acrobatic elements are not permitted. Choreography must consist of basic jazz elements. Modern dance is based on a relaxed, free movement-dancing, choreographers use feelings and moods to design their own dance steps. The entire dance routine must consist of modern dance techniques and current trends. Ballet. Dancers in this discipline must present Classical Ballet Technique and style and must perform it in soft ballet slippers or Pointe shoes. Lyrical and modern jazz techniques are not permitted in this discipline. Tap. The primary emphasis is on the harmonious bled of the music and dancer’s footwork technique;the dancer uses taps on his/her shoes to make sounds. The music must not contain pre-recorded taps . The dancer’s taps and music must be clearly audible to the dancer him/herself, to the audience and to judges. Folk and Ethnical. This style of dance must express regional tradition, passed down from generation to generation. Costumes and music must reflect folkloric tradition. Majorets incorporated intensive physical activity both to motivate sport teams and audiences and for fun. Choreography can encompass many elements, such as tumbling, jumping, cheering in order to motivate spectators to cheer for a sports team. Latino show. Dance style dominated by Latin American and Ballroom dances. It can be dance by soloist, couplesor in a group. This style also includes dances like Salsa, Bachata, Argentine tango, Swing Ballroom dances. It can be danced by soloist, couplesor in a group. This style also includes dances like : slow waltz (Boston), quickstep (fast foxtrot), Viennese waltz, tango, slow foxtrot.
