The festival concert “Winter fairy tale” the with participation of the Russian youth collectives took place in Prague.
On the 7th of January in one of the biggest concert-hall in Prague took place the concert “Winter Fairy Tale”. Over 20 youth musical and dancing collectives from Russia showed their talent in the Congress Hall. The concert became the first action of the traditional children’s festival in 2007, which is created by Russian-Czech company JS Group.
The Prague public enthusiastically applauded young talents from Voronezh, Vyborg, Kazan, Kaluga, Orenburg, Perm, Samara, Saratov, St.-Petersburg and other Russian regions. The young artists showed Russian national dances, sang Russian national songs, arias from operas of Russian and foreign composers.
The creative groups from Ukraine, Estonia and Czech Republic also took part in the concert.
The honorary guests were representatives of the Ministry of culture CR, orthodox clergy and diplomatic missions. The embassy of the Russian Federation in Czech Republic actively supporter the concert and gave the patronage to it.
